The BBC is reporting that Egypt is still experiencing massive internet outages. The government is reportedly shutting down ISP’s DNS’. Earlier this week they had restricted access to twitter and Facebook. The Egyptian protests are coming after similar unrest took place in Tunisia, that protest went viral, gained a lot of support and was able to collapse the regime of Zine al-Abdine Ben Ali’s government. I think it’s safe to assume that Mubarak, Muhammad Hosni’s government is doing this out of fear of the same thing happening to them.
