White iPhone Coming Soon

According to a Bloomberg Hon Hai, the Hong Kong based company that supplies Apple with it’s iPhones has recently started to put the infamous white iPhone into production.

After a 10 month delay the new model iPhone should be available by the end of April on AT&T and Verizon’s networks. The phone was first announced last year when then Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced the iPhone 4 but was never released due to an apparent flaw in production that left prevented it from being up to Apple’s strict hardware standards.

The rumor seems pretty legit, after the disappointment from customers who couldn’t get one at launch, Apple did promise to get the white iPhone out as soon as possible and just last month Phil Schiller, senior vice president of marketing at Apple indicated via Twitter that the phone would be ready by spring.

The white model of the iPhone 4 still made it into some consumers hands via parts sellers who sold DYI kits for people technically inclined enough to give it a shot. Steve Wozniack even pulled one out during his appearance at the engadget show, stating he bought the parts from some kid online and put it together himself.

Check it out for yourself:
