Watson Whoops A$$ in Jeopardy

 

 

I just finished watching IBM’s supercomputer Watson dominated the best of the best Jeopardy champions tonight.

Watson one last nights round hands down and tonight was no different, I don’t recall the exact numbers but Watson correctly answered 24 out of 30 questions and only got one wrong. Tomorrow is the final round, but it seems like Watson is just getting smarter as the games continue so I’ll be surprised if either Ken Jennings or Brad Rutter get a chance to buzz in tomorrow night.

IBM’s Watson VS Jeopardy Champs Tonight!

 

IBM’s supercomputer Watson is going toe to toe with the two biggest all time Jeopardy champs Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter tonight in the first of three rounds.

IBM plans to dismantle Watson after the last game, however they intended to use the technology in other fields such as business and medicine. Dr. David Ferrucci, the lead researcher on the project, has said he envisions a future where computers using Watsons machine learning capabilities will be able to diagnose patients using various test results faster and with more accuracy than human doctors.

So don’t forget to tune in tonight. It should be very interesting.

IBM's new supercomputer dubbed "Watson" recently wiped the floor with previous Jeapordy Champs Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter. The new supercomputer is currently gaining all sorts of respect as one of the best examples of supercomputing A.I around today.
