Cnet.com is reporting today that Steve Jobs is taking his second medical leave in several years. His first was for pancreatic cancer (which he survived). COO Tim Cook is set to handle they day to day operations as Jobs stays on as CEO.
Jobs is not stating exactly the reason that he's leaving only stating in an email provided by Apple that, at his request the board of directors granted him a medical leave of absence so he could focus on his health.
