Google’s senior VP of Commerce and Local, Jeff Huber reported on their earnings today, and it looks like Android is showing no sight of slowing down.
Some of the Android numbers of pretty impressive, Huber reported that there have been over 3 billion Android app installs to date, which puts the OS’ app download numbers up by 50 percent over Q4 2010.
According to the earnings call, 350,000 Android devices are being activated per day.
Google’s earnings outside of Android however were a little bit lower than expected with earnings per share clocking in at $8.08, $.03 less than projections estimated. Revenues on the other hand rose by 27% while net income increased by 15%.
