A team of police, internationally assembled and UK led shut down what they say is the largest internet pedophile ring to date.
The operation was known as Operation Rescue. It lasted three years and was headed up by detectives from the UK’s Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre. According to reports 184 people have been arrested 121 of them were in the UK (one was a woman), and about 60 children have now been protected. The suspects included police officers, a karate teacher, and a scout leader among others.
33 people have been convicted to date the latest being in Northamptonshire. The users were on a website called boylover.net (ewwww) and used it’s private channels to share pictures of abused children. The sites leader has agreed to corporate with authorities and is helping them round up the rest of the disgusting bastards who were doing this.
