HTC Dual Core Sensation Announced

htc-sensation

HTC the company behind what I think are some of the best Android phones out on the market today announced it’s plans to release a dual core processor phone (the first for the company) on T-Mobile this summer.

The Sensation (HTC’s name for their new phone) was expected to be announced at Mobile World Congress a little while back, not by name specifically but rather people were just expecting HTC to release some sort of dual core smartphone since that seems to be the trend most companies are following.

According to analyst Geoff Blaber over at CCS Insight, Qualcomm was  behind NVidia's tegra 2 processor at the time of MWC, which means they’re the reason for the lack of a Sensation announcement at MWC by HTC.

The phone is looking pretty promising, besides it’s Qualcomm dual-core 1.2 GHz processor the phone also sports a 4.3 inch capacitive touchscreen, a 960 X 540 qHD (quarter high definition) display, an 8 MP camera on the back, a VGA camera on the front and will run Android 2.3.

The only thing the phone dosen’t seem to have ism eating disorder, it’s 11.3 millimeters thick, which although is still thin as hell, but nonetheless is thicker than most other phones on the market today.
